SHOULD WE ANTICIPATE FOR SOMETHING NEW THIS YEAR?

As we are closing up the Month of January 2020,  What do we look forward to February in the Fashion Industry in Western Kenya?

Maybe maybe not, here is why;
Sitting down with the big names in the industry at the region and a few models, there was a word that nothing is valued more than money in the industry and if you have got none, God help you. It is more of who you know to what you know. You can have a Naomi Campbell catwalk, you can have the best designs ever, most creative one ever but if you are not connected you get nothing. Is it true?

Another thing last year, there was a cold war between the event organizers and event sponsors saying that they give their tokens for the events but for some reason, the same is misused, which did not make them happy. The question is, in this year, are they going to overlook the past and give their sponsorship again?

That aside, when it comes to Event organizers, have been doing a good job, making sure that we have events monthly and crowning the best models, that is very commendable. But why can't we have one Major event of public holidays? for Example; There are 10 organizers organizing for Mr. and Miss, Valentines this year, Why cant the 10 pool together their resources and hold one major event? then they can go and have many other events of their choice?

It is a broad subject, This year what we should look forward to is fairness, transparency, models should be valued and given what is due.

Stay tuned, I will be updating you of all that happens in the industry here in Bungoma.

Stay alert for I am dropping a spoiler alert soon!
